I just found this comic, and I’m really enjoying it so far. Her naivety is a little tiresome, but it’s also realistic for her age (or at least what I assume her age to be). I’m really curious what’s going on with the “I see dead people” visions. And who it was that reattached her head.
The video in the beginning was amazing, but I can only hope the ending was deliberately misleading. I have a hard time when I hit the tragic part of tragedies.
I must say it’s true.. I hope she doesn’t die in the end I mean after all this and that, she deserves a great ending.. and if it is a must for her to die at least kill her in an honorable way which will make us believe we didn’t continue on reading the manga for nothing
Although I DO wonder how the book HEARS. I can understand feeling and seeing (that eye is infinitely cool) but I am left guessing how it hears. Until next week!
The slight cat face on the last panel was too perfect, too.
Perhaps the ‘wings’ next to the eye act as ears? The only other option I can see is if it can ‘feel’ vibrations through the cover, and interprets them the way our ears do for sound. If the latter though…well, that would possibly lead to absolutely fantastic tracking skills (just lay on the ground and listen for footsteps)

Having no sense of smell myself, I know exactly what this book means. I’ve never been able to smell.
