I feel like I shouldn’t just stalk this comic every Thursday and instead actually comment every once in a while, so yeah… very interesting story and cool art
RIP chair
sorry but a light insult that anyone can just ignore in Arabic it doesn’t reach the levels of the F word, or even “go to hell” because saying either of those could easily start a fight
that is an Arabian word if you want its literal english translation it would sound like “TOZ FEEK” it means “it doesn’t matter how much you consider yourself great/ or strong/ or whatever the thing you’re showing off it because it doesn’t have a value at all”
because when he threw that chair it made him look like he can attack or something so she shouted that word which in this situation literally means ” very weak attack and you are even weaker to use it to attack!” in the middle east people use it a lot as a light easy insult that anyone can laugh it off because really it’s very light. if you want to get its shortcut meaning as well it simply means “whatever you are insulting has no value” that’s all.
for a webcomic i didn’t expect someone to actually use anything other than English or the very own world of the comic language itself so using arabic is quite interesting and in the right place as well! very nice keep it up!

Someone knows what she is saying in panel eight?
Its saying to hell with it or fuck it, something close to that its most commonly used to say i dont care in an offensive way in arabic.

That chair is going to remember that.
